What a fun time we had this weekend with family. Because we are holding strong with our commitment to give the boys another year of healing and growth during the winter, the
Bubbies are not attending big family functions or going to the mall for a yearly "Santa sit". But we did go to Aunt Teresa's house and have a mini Christmas "bash" with the boys this weekend. Although is was nice to see everyone and let the
Bubbies explore new surroundings, what made this night even better was Santa Clause! He knew the boys weren't going to see him this year, so he decided to join us for a little bit of celebration. I was
sooo excited to see that our first Santa picture was finally going to happen!
Here are a few pictures of a fabulous holiday evening. Enjoy!
Tyler is getting used to Santa...
and runs the moment he gets his footing! So fast you couldn't capture him actually
sitting on Santa's lap!
Parker checks out brother's ordeal from a distance.
Then Parker gets his torturous trip on the big guy's lap. Hey, not bad! Parker was looking pretty good with this Santa "business".
So of course we needed a picture with both
Bubbies together! They're still pretty good, until...
We just HAD to push it with a family photo, didn't we?

I'm so glad the boys got to meet Santa. I'm sure he'll be very good to them, since they've been such good boys!
I loved your Christmas card! I taught Eve the boys' names and she kept waving to them and saying "Hi, babies". Can't wait until the spring when we can get together.
Heather! The boys are so sweet and what a special holiday for everyone! It is great to see they are doing so well. Hopefully we can catch up soon!
